The 123OLAP HFM Product Overview course is designed to take project team members through all the essentials of working in a Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system. The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the HFM terms and concepts and enable them to make informed design decisions with their consultants. We basically cover the full 5-day HFM Bootcamp course at a higher level in a demo/discussion format, rather than at a hands-on detailed level that administrators and power users would need. The intended audience may include controllers, directors of financial reporting, accounting and IT analysts who will not be hands-on with the product during implementation and development but who will be providing input into the requirements and design of the HFM solution. This class is delivered with a presentation style approach by an experienced design-level consultant.
The course covers the features that are available in HFM and the applicable design considerations. We begin with a general overview of HFM with a review HFM terms, the architecture of all the HFM components and how they are commonly used. We then get into specific features and functions of HFM.
have an understanding of HFM terms and concepts, and the applicable design considerations. Course topics include:

Note: This course is does not replace the 5-day hands on HFM Bootcamp class that administrators will take. Nor can it replace the design work that will be provided by your consultants, but it will enhance students’ involvement in that design process.
